Thorunn Arnadottir, how to slow down time.

I came across this really interesting clock by Icelandic product designer Thorunn Arnadottir. Each bead equals 5 minutes while the orange and red beads represent whole hours. As the wheel turns, one bead drops down the string every 5 minutes. You can even take it off the wheel and wear it as a necklace. So cool!

She goes on to talk about time in our everyday lives and how we're either racing against time or waiting impatiently for it to pass. She also explains how many tribes in Africa are totally unaware of the "western" system of time.  Really interesting stuff. Definitely check it out.
