We're all just dying to live, aren't we?

"Man is engaged in a constant process of dying, yet does nothing but dream of reaching a point where he will really begin to live."
- Abram Tertz

I came across this quote today while browsing Hammock's website. They have an amazing collection of quotes and writings that are beyond inspirational. I found this quote and it just struck a certain chord with me, maybe because thats how I've felt most of my life. It's weird to actually think about. Will I ever be at a point in my life where I'm really living my life to the fullest, and at the same time, consciously be aware of it?

I feel like I'm constantly falling short of how I should really be living my life... like there will always be a tomorrow to fix things how they should be. I guess its best to just look at things and realize that everything is in a constant state of change. There is no future and there is no past. All that matters is right now.

If you haven't heard Hammock, do yourself a favor and listen to them. If possible, set aside an hour or two and really take in a full album. I recommend Raising Your Voice... Trying to Stop an Echo
