After browsing a rather lackluster selection of movies at blockbuster last night, me and Can came across Peaceful Warrior. I remember seeing a trailer for it a while back and wanted to see it, but never did. We settled on this and I'm glad we did. If you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend it. It really made me think of what's truly important in life, and how so many people are searching for the wrong things, or at least searching for what they think they need, but really don't. I don't know much about philosophy but I'm sure it touches on various classic philosophical ideas, such as loving those who are unlovable, realizing that life is about the journey and not the destination, and that people must learn to live in the moment, rather than for the future or the past. In summation, its deep, and my poor verbal skills can't even begin to communicate what its truly about.
